Photographer's Comments
Continuation from what I did for Day 019. This time, Danny to me to try lining up a few candles and use a wider aperture value to get a blurred background (bokeh). Did a few variations of this shot, and this is the best that I could get. Comments on how to improve this photo, composition wise or post processing is highly appreciated.

I love the vividness of the blue haze around the base of the flames - hottest part of the flame is, in my opinion, the hottest part of the frame. I Also like the fact that the point of focus is not centered in the image either - I think too many people try to deliberately get that in the centre.

One thing that I'd try is to set the candles at an angle so that the flames don't rise vertically. Just an idea really

keep ur f value smaller and the "blurring" effect would be greater!

Lovely shot chets!!... it makes me think of peace... and the idea of hope thru engulfing darkness!!

i like this photo... the blurring is nice and with more light from the flames, you get more of the candlestick which gives out an air of mystery to it... nice work..
