Photographer's Comments
I was at a wedding reception of one of my collegemate yesterday in Papar, Sabah. Didn't bring along my D60 but I had my Coolpix S51 compact camera with me. This photo was taken by one of the guest at the wedding. Nothing too artistic about this photo, but I wanted to share the joy of wedding. Did minor post production to enhance the colour.

Photographer's Comments
Bought this a few months back solely for the purpose of taking photos. Lighting for this shot was from a single white LED from my mobile phone. I had initially wanted to convert this photo into black and white, and then add some digital noise to give it the classic look. However, during conversion to black and white, I found that I could get clean and clear white background. So I decided to retain the colour of the car, and to change the background to white. I thenk increase the saturation and contrast of the car to bring out its colour. Did some sharpening as well. I am quite happy with the final outcome from this shot. Comments on how to improve this photo, composition wise or post processing is highly appreciated.

Been really busy at work for the past few day, so I had to resort to taking photos in my apartment. I had initially wanted to do a water droplet shot, but somehow that didn't turn out right. More practising before I can nail that shot. Took this set of Full House using my DIY Lightbox (again!!). Comments on how to improve this photo, composition wise or post processing is highly appreciated.

** note : amended the title. Suppose to be Royal Flush and not Full House. Thanks to Danny for pointing it out.

Taken in my kitchen. Should have gone higher to the circle effect of the blue flames. Was afraid I would burn my camera due to the heat and the proximity of the camera to the flame. Comments on how to improve this photo, composition wise or post processing is highly appreciated.

I had originally wanted to go for M&M's but the shop that I went to didn't have them in stock. Instead I found this instead, Nips - Chocolate Coated Peanut. Used my DIY Lightbox again to get the right lighting. Used a smaller aperture value, to maximise the Depth of Field (DOF). ISO : 100
Exposure Program : Aperture Priority
F-number : f/5.3
Shutter Speed : 9 s
Focal Length : 46 mm
Software : Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0

Photographer's Comments
More colour popping method experiment by myself. The eggs looks wet because I just took them out from the fridge prior to this shot. Had a tough time placing them in place, and I had to use double sided tape to ensure they don't roll away. I am not quite happy with the final outcome, somehow I feel the lighting was a bit infrequent. Got to practice more on the lighting and composition of the shot. Comments on how to improve this photo, composition wise or post processing is highly appreciated.

Photographer's Comments
It's Valentine's Day today and I decided to capture an image of love. I've seen this kind of photo being taken many times, and I have always wanted to do one myself. I used my bible as the background and place my engagement ring on the bible. If you look closely, my fiancee's name and my name can been seen engraved on the inner part of the ring. Light source was from a single LED light from my mobile phone. I shot at ISO 800 as I wanted the grainy effect as I had wanted to convert the image into black and white, thus giving it the classic look. However, during post production, I decided to retain the colour of the ring and make the background black and white (colour popping method). Took a walk around my office compound and I say this particular spider. One of the biggest spider I've seen in my office. Looks like it was injured and couldn't move much, making it easier for me to capture a photo of it. Did some cropping and adjusted the saturation, contrast and sharpness of this photo. Shutter Speed : 1/80 s

Photographer's Comments
This photo was taken yesterday, but I was only able to upload this photo this morning. I went to Tanjung Aru Beach to try capture a sunset scene, and I saw this couple sitting under a coconut tree. Composition wise could have been better, but there were other trees beside that particular coconut tree, and it was quite hard to compose properly. Having said that, I am quite happy with the final outcome, as the sunset was beatiful and it was a welcoming sight after a long day at work. Shutter Speed : 1/6 s
Focal Length : 55 mm
Software : Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0

Photographer's Comments
I was at a site in Tanjung Batu, Kota Marudu today and on the way back, I had the chance to view this spectacular sunset. We (my colleagues and myself) were on our way to another site when I saw this. Luckily I had my camera with me and was able to capture the sunset. Noise level is quite high but not that noticeable at ISO 800. I had to increase the ISO as I didn't have my tripod with me. Lucky me, the boat provided an interesting focal point and the silhouette of the boat is just beautiful. However, I feel that I might have overdone the contrast and saturation. This photo was actually shot yesterday, but due to some issues with the internet connection at home, I am only able to upload it this morning. I was at a site of mine yesterday, and saw this spider in its web. It was quite a challenge to capture a photo of this spider, as it was aware of my presence, and it kept moving about. Did some sharpening of image, increased the contrast and increased the saturation as well to bring out the colour of the spider. I have always been fascinated with water droplets. I admire photographers who have the patience and is able to stay still for a long time to get that perfect water droplet shot. This is my first and definately not my last attempt at photographing a water droplet. From this particular shot, I realize that much more can be improved, such as the composition, lighting, and background. Since this is my first attempt, I would say this is quite a decent shot. Not great but decent enough . Comments on how to improve this photo, composition wise or post processing is highly appreciated.
