Photographer's Comments
This photo is of a prayer altar in my sister's house. There is a few bells on the altar itself but I decided to isolate and take only one bell. I kind of like the outline that is made around the brass bell. Looks like a bell in a bell. Hope that sentence made sense. Used a higher ISO and increase the exposure level as I was shooting in a low light condition. Comments on how to improve this photo, composition wise or post processing is highly appreciated.

Rather than going for a higher ISO, I might have been inclined to try using a longer exposure than 1/20 but that would possibly call for a tripod.
Just a thought anyway! Nice image
Yuppp i have to agree with Rupert . If you are using D700 than ISO 800 is nothing. But you and me using the same D60 my friend . Get a tripod , Shutter speed slower , aperture i sure with that kinda focal length you can go for f/3.7 or 4 and ISO not more than 200 . Than go and get that shoot again you will see the result .. well thats just me my friend . :)
I agree. Opting for a high ISO is not the best choice because of the noise factor. But lower ISO's usually give a better capture but as Rupert & Sharin mentioned, you'll have to use a tripod for a clearer shot. Anyways, I like the idea of the bell in a bell. It's unique and interesting. If you're thinking of PPing it should the shot be taken without manipulation at camera level itself, it might take some work to adjust the colour and brightnest etc. Doable still but just time consuming. :)
